I founded 23DA after seeing how crowded and confusing the automated inspection market has become. My research shows over 80 inspection vendors vying for manufacturers’ attention, making it easy to end up with a suboptimal solution and waste resources. I help clients avoid pitfalls with my qualification framework, technical expertise, and data-driven approach.
Why 23DA
I evaluate vendors on specialty, financials, history, support, and proven results. I prioritize honest factory-floor feedback from peers. Synthesizing this data—via research, trade shows, and spec analysis—is a complex and time-consuming undertaking, but it is essential to ensure I qualify solutions before they are implemented on my clients’ factory floors.
How I work
In the last ten years, I have stained my fair share of white button-down shirts while physically installing and troubleshooting equipment (I sold AI solutions, cameras, and lasers). My steel-toed boots have walked hundreds of factory floors, including those of Fortune 100 companies, and I have worked on projects implemented across three continents. I have served manufacturers in the defense, automotive, food, medical, semiconductor, and other industries.
Experience
I am paid only by end users (not vendors). In fact, I have turned down vendor contracts to remain fully independent and focus exclusively on what is technically best for my clients. Because of the hands-on nature of my work, I currently limit my portfolio to manufacturers based in the U.S. Northeast to ensure the highest level of service.

I am not just another suit; I work as both an analyst and a consultant, specializing in equipment and software for manufacturing environments, with a background in Electronics and a B.B.A. I aim to understand what is required on my client’s factory floor to achieve long-term stability in inspection —monitoring product quality, assets, productivity, and processes. I have 10 years of experience in manufacturing, I speak the language of engineering, and understand the technical considerations—and potential pitfalls—that must be navigated to get a project from concept to consistent production.
